On Wednesday, Meek Mill and his attorneys appeared in court asking an appeals court to overturn a 2008 drug and gun conviction that has kept the rapper on probation for a decade.
Meek Mill and his attorneys believed that the judge deciding his case, Genece Brinkley, had a long standing vendetta against him. The hearing ended without a ruling from the Superior Court panel. Meek's lawyers and the District Attorney's Office both iterated they believe the rapper deserves a new trial. Van Jones was there to support him.
