Invisibilia podcast “A Very Offensive Rom-Com”: [ Ссылка ]
This video was inspired by a 1am FaceTime conversation with a friend about how asian men are perceived negatively, how it impacts their dating lives, and whether we can change who we’re attracted to. I talk about the nature of attraction and why we’re into who we’re into, and how internalized racism can affect that. I talk about why we might be interested in challenging who we’re attracted to, and how we might approach trying to do that. I talk about why we might want or not want to date outside of our race.
