i love both film and art and i wanted to make a side to side comparison of movie scenes with the famous paintings that inspired them. starting with more obvious examples like the shutter island one or more subtle one like the alien covenant case. but also, i've been obsessed with the concept of animating paintings, giving the life, so the diffence between the scenes and the paintings is even smaller.
