Cory Bernatt has been running The Sandalman Leathercare, a leather-repair shop in Toronto, since 1982. He shows us how he restores a 70-year-old horsehide jacket by removing the cuffs, waistband, and dried-out sheepskin collar and sewing on new parts. The process involves relining, creating replacements, and reconditioning the jacket.
