If possible, store supplies for three or more days.
If you are outdoors when a detonation occurs Lie face down, to protect your skin from the heat and flying debris.
After the shock wave passes, get inside the nearest shelter.
You will have about 15 minutes to find shelter.
Immediately after you are inside shelter, Remove your clothing to remove radiation from your body.
Take a shower or wash with soap and water.
If you cannot wash or shower, use a wipe.
