Edit: I've made two more parts to this video, so go see them for more info about this issue:

Part 3: [ Ссылка ]
I know this is now common knowledge, but since I've only tried weapons heavily affected by this bug recently, I thought I'd make a video showing this issue anyway.
For those not aware of what the issue is, apparently the durability drops depending on your framerate, meaning that on the PC with our pretty much constant 60fps, the weapons degrade at least twice as fast as on consoles, where the game runs at 30fps or less.
Also, swinging your weapon through a body of a dead or dying enemy, but also through the body of a friendly phantom/shade degrades the weapon to the point of some weapons being broken in literally like four swings or so.
And, to top it off, some weapons (like this Great Club) seem to degrade quite fast on their own, even though their durability value seems fine (the Great Club has 70 durability, which is above average in Dark Souls 2, yet it breaks much quicker than other 70 durability weapons).
Given that this game loves to throw packs of enemies at you where it's quite hard to avoid any swings through dying enemies, it makes some weapons borderline unusable, as they will only last a few enemies before they break.
Here's hoping that From Software patches this annoying bug, since I refuse to believe this is intentional.
BTW, for those interested in graphics mods of this game, the recording is made using Durante's GeDoSaTo utility (no downsampling active, though) with a custom postprocessing setting which pretty much just gives me a higher image contrast, meaning the darks are a bit darker to get rid of the "grey darkness" issues this game seems to suffer in some areas, while hopefully not crushing any blacks on a properly calibrated monitor, and the lights are a bit (well, quite a lot, actually) brighter.
