"Man on the Silver Mountain" is a song by English-American rock band Rainbow, released as the first track of their 1975 debut studio album, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Written by Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie James Dio, it was their debut single.
This is a great song to learn and master due to the cool riffs and chord patterns in the songs, as well as the interesting arpeggios. It also showcases a master vocal performance by Ronnie James Dio. This is a great jam to play g minor pentatonic over or g dorian. I provide insights on how to play and solo over the song as well as demonstrate all the chords including the tricky breakdown part before the guitar solo.
