Another fantastic day of hunting in Ontario! Woodcock are finally starting their migration and the Grouse are plentiful! Lily, my German Shorthaired Pointer, did amazing for her second solo hunt and developed a ton over the course of the day! We managed a limit of 5 Ruffed Grouse and 3 American Woodcock on the day! I decided to go back to my old faithful 20 gauge shotgun to hunt these birds!
