Railay Beach, also spelled Rai Leh, is located in Krabi, southern Thailand.

Railay Beach is reachable only by a boat from Ao Nang or Krabi Town. It is located on peninsula that is cut off from the mainland by deep jungle and high limestone cliffs, thus can be only reached by a boat.

The beach is very popular, so the boat service is very frequent and people can come by speedboats or longtail boats. The trip takes around 15 minutes and costs around 100 Bath. The tickets are sold directly at Ao Nang Pier, Ao Nam Mao Pier or Krabi Town Pier.

People usually visit the beach for a day trip, but it is possible to stay longer, as the area offers many accommodation options and numerous pubs and restaurants.

Other than Railay Beach, the peninsula is also known for Phra Nang Beach, East Railay Beach and Tonsai Beach. All these beaches are known for its turquoise sea colors, breathtaking landscapes and picturesque sandy beaches.

The beaches are not popular only for swimming, other popular sports include kayaking, snorkeling, hiking or climbing, as the area is full of cliffs.

The best time to visit is during the dry season that is between November and March.
