We took a poll on our stories and asked our followers if they believed our beautiful patient had hollow or puffy lower eyelids. We were surprised to see 32% of people vote Hollow.

In fact, our patient was not hollow. She had been overfilled for years which caused puffy eye bags. We corrected her eye bags by dissolving the fillers with Hylenex and treating skin laxity with our Duplex procedure.

If you’re an injector, it’s important to note that 1 in 3 of your patients maybe looking at the mirror and see hollow when in reality they are overfilled. It’s up to you to properly assess and educate your patients to avoid contributing to this epidemic.
