At the end of my video I say to never use the dr60 without a 'prepared xlr' I mean with this, one with the lock removed. Buy xlr connectors without a lock (little hole) or cut the little hole open on your existing xlr cables. Here is a photo of my 'lock removed' xlr plug on my DR-60 [ Ссылка ] Because the socket on the Tascam is rather tied anyway, The xlr stays in without a lock just as well.

Shame on you Tascam as it seems to happen a lot on Tascam recorders. Great recorder, bad fragile xlr combi connector.
