BMW R1200GS Rallye - Motorcycle Tour Spain Andalusia.
Motorcycle touring in Spain is like riding in heaven. This time we choose one of the best Adventure motorcycles BMW R1200GS Rallye and went down to south Spain, Andalusia for our moto touring experience.
Three days full of riding on some of the most amazing and inspiring landscapes on the planet (with BMW GS).
What to watch for while moto touring in Spain:
What we discovered is that a lot of road maintance is unmarked on the road. Also Andalusia is home to a lot of bicycles so watch for this while cornering.
Speed limit for motorcycle touring is 60km/h or 80km/h or 100km/h depending on the road. But speed limit means speed limit in Spain. Police is serious and unforgiving even for motorcycles and a lot of the time they'll wait you hidden in some bush or under the tree. Fines are calculated based on the speed, not fixed, so make sure you don't go much above speed limit. Also there's a lot of unmarked fixed cameras by the road.
Flying with the drone is also relatively forbidden in Spain. By law it's allowed on certain places even without flying permit but as we saw people don't like drones and you really need to watch where you're using it. Make sure you read rules from Spanish flying agency as Malaga airport is really busy place. We haven't use the drone at all.
Please leave a comment if you'll have any questions I'll do my best to answer them as soon as possible.
