This Midweek Rub clip features JB and Billy with Chief and special guest Tony Jones in place of the absent, interstate Damian Barrett, with permission from 3AW's Neil Mitchell. They discuss the announcement of Cameron Schwab's dismissal yesterday in which Jones voices his disbelief in the AFL's statement that i had no hand in the decision. Chief finds that pretty funny. Then they mention Leading Teams, where Bill inadvertently calls Jonesy "Chompers". For those of you unaware, Jones is referred to as Chompers because a few years back before his stint on the Sunday Footy Show, he had his teeth capped and whitened. At one stage, it looked ridiculous when he smiled on camera. Apparently, the condition of his appearance on the Midweek Rub today was if he was not called that -- a name which was originally coined by Spud. In fact, Jonesy tells them a story about how he was presenting a trophy at the Cox Plate when the Chompers chant started and security had to move in to stop it. At the halfway point, Chief tries to leave because he's already had enough, but listen to the contents of his day thus far -- hilarious stuff. The twitterers jump all over Jonesy, with the hashtag "Chompers" requesting he take over Damo's spot regularly. Chief tries again at the end to leave before the joke but his shouts of "NO!" fall on deaf ears. The joke is a shocker and Bill stuffs up the punchline, again, but it's Chief's frustration at Bill's terrible singing that makes it funny. Again.
