Each year, slips, trips, and falls are responsible for almost a third of all workplace injuries and over a quarter of all workplace fatalities.

However, despite being so common, all it takes is a little increased awareness and a few sensible precautions to control the risks, making the chances of an accident much less likely, and significantly reducing the consequences of any which still occur.

So, during this course, that’s exactly what we’ll be looking at. We’ll see what slips, trips, and falls are, what causes them, what risks they pose, and what you can do to prevent them. As well as considering whose responsibility it is to deal with and report them.

Our goal by the end of this course is to simply help YOU make your workplace a safer place for everyone. The things you’ll learn today aren’t complicated and are largely just common sense but they’re also incredibly important.
