A talk plus Q&A session delivered to LIVErNORTH members via Zoom on 3rd October 2023. Some innovative and very promising treatments for liver cancer on trial with some early positive results. Some good, relevant questions from the audience followed. Prof Mann is the head of the Newcastle Fibrosis Research Group (NFRG). His main research interests are the transcriptional control of inflammation, epigenetic control of fibrosis and the role of age-related chronic inflammation in ageing and cancer.
