This is a celebrity recipe battle for best deviled eggs. Martha Stewart's deviled eggs are a classic recipe, no ingredient fuss but of course the steps are very Martha. Now for Oprah, her ingredient list is longer offering more flavors but her method is simple. So which will we prefer? The classic smooth finish of Martha's or the flavor punch from Oprah's? QUICK TIPS WE LEARNED AFTER TEST:
1. Martha's method of using a sieve did result in a smoother filling. Don't worry, the sieve was easy to clean just soak in water for 15 minutes.
2. Using a piping bag made filling the egg whites easier, if you don't have a piping bag just use a Ziploc bag and cut a tip off.
3. Taste the fillings and add more of whatever if you prefer. Don't oversalt!
4. Make sure to cover your deviled eggs with saran wrap until ready to serve so it doesn't dry on top.
