Turkey has the largest Kurdish minority in the region and also has the most complex relationship with the Kurds. This makes Turkey particularly sensitive to the Kurdish issue in the region and the United states and Donald Trumps open backing of the YPG. . Kurds have a long history in Anatolia and It is estimated that around 14 Million Kurds live in Turkey, mostly in the South East of the country.
