Sam Weigel is an airline pilot, columnist for Flying magazine, and creator of the V1 Rotate web series for prospective professional pilots. Sam tells the story of his flying career, his writing career, and his and wife Dawn's adventures living aboard a sailboat for six years with their dog Piper. Now they're building a homestead on an airpark near Seattle, Washington. Theirs is a compelling story: how they settled here, what it has taken to (mostly) build their own hangar/apartment, and how a 1946 Stinson 108 unexpectedly found them right at their new airpark home.
