I know nothing about this orchestra, nor about the members of whom it was comprised. I only know that this disc was made for Columbia.
Here they perform "Šic, mic, Micika", a song about an extremely picky daughter, whose mother does her best to find her a suitable husband. She, in turn, finds a flaw in each (tailor has a needle, but no water in the house, waiter distributes drinks around and winks at other girls, etc). In the end, she marries a butcher, so that she may never be hungry.
So, all ye ladies out there, before marrying, take this age old advice into consideration :D
The second song, "U šumici zelenoj" (In a green forest), could comfortably fit among turbo folk songs of this day and age, although they have surpassed it in sheer explicity of their lyrics.
It talks about how two lovers sit in a forest glade, on soft grass, whereupon the "gentleman" takes it upon himself to ask the lady to "give it to him", but what he desires, the lady does not know!
The song ends when the lady issues an invitation for the man to come to her place, for, she has decided to give "it" to him, after all.
