Last time, we finally had all eight Crystals within our sight when suddenly... It's a trap! We fell from the vault to another part of the tower, so we had no choice but to keep going. However, it all worked out for us in the end, as we ended up finding ANOTHER airship! Edge thinks it should be called the 'Falcon'. It's a little on the nose, but who cares really. So now we have an airship in the Underworld, but you'll notice it can't seem to fly over the magma. What are we gonna do about that?
CHAPTER 14 - THE SEALED CAVE
So we're going back to see King Giott, again, with bad news. We've failed twice now to steal the Crystals back from Golbez. So now, the only action we can possibly take is to secure the final Dark Crystal that's still at large in the Underworld. It's located in the Sealed Cave, located southwest of Dwarven Castle. King Giott gives you Luca's Necklace, which is the key to opening the Sealed Cave. However, you still can't fly over the magma. Or can you...?
Some of the dwarfs will mention that there's someone in the infirmary. It's Cid! Even though a bomb capable of sealing the hole to the Underworld basically exploded in his hands, Cid's a tough old man and he's still kicking. Against the medical advice of his dwarven doctors, Cid gets right to work on upgrading the new airship, so it can fly over the magma. It probably wasn't a great idea, because he immediately collapses afterwards. He's ok, but he sure gave us a scare!
The town of Tomra is located right by the Sealed Cave. There's definitely some armor and weapons worth getting, but ouch! They're pricey! Don't worry too much about weapons for Cecil or Edge, they'll get theirs in the Sealed Cave. Hehe, I remember this place being really tough. This was actually the one boss I was worried about, but the difficulty on this Pixel Remaster is a joke! I really breezed through this whole dungeon without any real problems.
The doors in this place are 'Trap Doors' which you'll have to fight. Most of them will lead to empty rooms, but I fought all of them anyway for the EXP. But you'll find weapons for Cecil and Edge eventually and you'll be well prepared for the boss, the Demon Wall. The Demon Wall is a... wall that will slowly inch towards you. If you don't kill it by the time it reaches you, it will eventually crush you. But honestly, if you setup the right battle commands and then switch on the auto-battle, it's a piece of cake. Cecil, Edge and Kain should do physical attacks, while Rydia summoning Titan does some good damage. I had Rosa cast Cura on everyone each turn, even though it wasn't necessary. In a few turns, the wall will fall.
Wow, we finally did something right. We got the Crystal, now there's nothing left to do but walk out of here, uneventfully. Right? I guess you'll have to see for yourself!
