In this AP Daily: Live Review session, we will review key content and skills from Unit 7: Atmospheric Pollution and Unit 8: Aquatic and Terrestrial Pollution. We’ll review the processes involved in the formation of photochemical smog, acid rain, and indoor air pollutants, including impacts and methods for reduction. We’ll also review key topics from Unit 8, with an emphasis on human disruption to ecosystems. Topics covered include the sources and impacts of aquatic pollutants including excess nutrients, heavy metals, and endocrine disruptors. In addition, we will review pathogens and the spread of infectious disease through human populations. There will be sample multiple-choice questions and free-response practice question samples that focus on designing an experiment and supporting potential solutions.
