ROSE SABUDANA KHEER
Serves 3
Ingredients:
1/4th Cup Sago Pearls / साबूदाना
1/4th Cup + 1/2 Cup Water / पानी
500 Mls Full Fat Milk / दूध
3 Tablespoons Sugar / शक्कर
1/4th Teaspoon Rose Essence / गुलाब एसेंस
1/4th Teaspoon Cardamom Powder / इलाइची पाउडर
4-5 Chopped Pistachios / पिस्ता
Crushed Rose Petals ( As Needed) / गुलाब की पंखुड़ी
Method:
Soak sabudana in 1/4th cup water for 15-20 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water in a saucepan along with the soaked sabudana and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the sabudana turns transparent.
Add milk and sugar. Bring to a boil on high heat, the reduce flame and simmer the kheer for 8-10 minutes. Add the rose essence and chopped pistachios and stir. Cook for another 5 minutes. Lastly, add the elaichi powder and stir. Switch off flame and let the kheer cool down to room temperature. Garnish the kheer with crushed rose petals and crushed pistachios before serving. Enjoy!

साबूदाना को 1/4 कप पानी में 15-20 मिनिट के लिये भिगो दीजिये | एक सॉस पैन में भीगे हुए साबूदाने के साथ 1/2 कप पानी डालें और 3-4 मिनट या जब तक साबूदाना पारदर्शी न हो जाए तब तक पकाएं। दूध और चीनी डालें। तेज़ आंच पर एक उबाल आने दें, आंच धीमी कर दें और खीर को 8-10 मिनट तक धीमी आंच पर पकने दें। गुलाब सार और कटे हुए पिस्ता डालें और हिलाएं। और 5 मिनट तक पकाएं | अंत में इलाइची पाउडर डालें और मिलाएँ। आंच बंद कर दें और खीर को कमरे के तापमान तक ठंडा होने दें। परोसने से पहले खीर को गुलाब की पंखुड़ियों और पिस्ते से सजाएँ।
