IAF Chief BS Dhanoa flew a sortie with Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and said that it was an honour. BS Dhanoa also listed out similarities between himself and Abhinandan, who had downed a Pakistan F-16 during aerial combat in February. BS Dhanoa, who is set to retire later this year, also said that he had flown along with Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s father.
