After all the VirtualMachine videos on my channel in which Hyprland did not ran well, I want to give Hyprland the stage it well-deserves and defend it's honor as one of the most beautiful and in my opinion best dynamic tiling Wayland compositors out at the moment. So in this video I install Hyprland natively on ArchLinux and configure waybar and kitty a little bit and then I just want to show how responsive and nice it could look and feel on Hyprland.
Thank you for your interest in my videos. Please consider subscribing to my channel my great goal is still to reach the 300 subs. Thank you.
Have fun with Linux. Yours, Peter.

Configuring Hyprland to look good is not so difficult. Install a wallpapertool like hyprpaper and set a wallpaper, create a style.css file for waybar that you like (start from the default file and read [ Ссылка ] remember to switch "sway" to "hyprland" in the waybar/config) and patch kitty to have some trancparency and blur (see [ Ссылка ] for more options).
As easy start just keep the default waybar and just create "~/.config/kitty/kitty.conf" and set:
font_family (install and use ttf-dejavu as it is my favorite or look at for example [ Ссылка ] and choose one you like)
bold_font auto
italic_font auto
bold_italic_font auto
foreground green
background black
background_opacity 0.75
background_blur 64
(That is the exact configuration I used in this video.)
