Back before cocktail bars were popular, Glaswegians were more accustomed to smoking and drinking warm beer in dimly-lit pubs.
These more traditional public houses were filled with some colourful characters and were integral to the culture of the city.
However, many of these pubs could hide some notorious business within, with some of Glasgow's biggest criminals operating or visiting these bars.
