UPDATE: A reader Laura brought to my attention that I say 1 1/4 cup water in this video, but the recipe calls for 1 3/4. The correct amount is 1 3/4 cup water. Thanks Laura! But I also want to note that while this recipe works for me, you may have to finesse your bagel dough since you are using different flour, have different air in your kitchen, etc. Type of flour, temperature, water, salt, all of those things cause doughs to be a little different. Like most bread products, this dough should be sticky by not runny. If it's runny, add more flour, If it's chalky, try more water. Hope this helps!
