It seems like nowadays the vast majority of monitors are being mane in the widescreen format, just like TVs. While TVs are better off in widescreen format, PC monitors should still be offered in the standard 4:3 ratio. A 4:3 high resolution display can be very useful if you're doing office productivity or web browsing as more vertically oriented content
can fit on the screen. I use Multisim on both the MTDX and my Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook. The 1525 has a widescreen display, which makes creating or editing circuits more difficult. I wish monitor manufacturers would bring 4:3 displays back to higher supply. Widescreens have their place and 4:3's also have their place too.
