California and Denmark have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together on water issues.

"Denmark is a small country, but they have a lot of the same kind of water issues that we have," says Cindy Tuck with the Association of California Water Agencies. "We can learn from them and they can learn from us."

As ACWA’s deputy executive director for government relations, Cindy Tuck leads and oversees the association’s Government Relations Team, which includes the Federal Relations Department, State Relations Department and a special projects manager. A member of ACWA’s executive management team, Tuck coordinates strategic planning and policy development and represents ACWA on certain top priority issues before Congress, the California Legislature and federal and state executive branch agencies and departments.
