With Henri well inland and post-tropical, we currently have no named systems over the tropical waters. However, the NHC is currently monitoring three areas for potential development. Two are classified as "Invests" in the central and eastern Atlantic. Both 97 and 98 appear to remain in the open Atlantic. However one undesignated tropical wave in the Caribbean will be the one to watch with models, even late last week, indicating possible development and movement into the western Gulf. Far too soon what will occur, but at the moment, the upper steering is forecast to keep us blocked!
