Ruger's .357 SP101 is a small, durable, and elegant-looking revolver and is excellent for concealed carry, personal defense, or home defense. There is no safety on it and the trigger is a harder pull because of this making it a very safe gun that can be readily put to use. These are very reliable and are built for long term consistent shooting. This model came with a synthetic hand grip which is comfortably molded to fit your hand. The stock hand grip is also removable and can facilitate custom grips and laser grips etc.The heft of this attractive little shooter makes it nice in that it absorbs much of the recoil in contrast to many synthetic lighter weight pistols. Easy to load and unload as well. I love the smell of gunpowder and always love to get out target shooting especially with my favorite shooting partner.
