It brings to mind that single enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast, but it's more delicious because instead of ticking down the days until the prince is cursed forever, it's just counting down the seconds until you can eat it. Guichon says he learned the technique over a decade ago in Switzerland as an apprentice and first applied it to marzipan treats.
The detail and art that go into making this picture perfect Valentine's Day-style delight almost makes it too beautiful to eat. But we're pretty sure that if one was given to us, we'd eat it anyway. We did say almost too beautiful to eat.
Roses are red, violets are blue, we say nom nom and you should too.
