What happens when a music supervisor sends a search and receives a deluge of submissions in response? For this panel, a TV supervisor, a film supervisor, a trailer supervisor, and an ad supervisor discuss placements from past projects, highlighting in particular why a certain song worked and what made it stand out from the songs that were otherwise excellent but didn't end up getting chosen. Supervisors will walk us through the process of what happens before they send a search, after they receive the music, listen through it, and send it on.
