You Hee-yeol a famous South Korean singer-songwriter was caught plagiarizing from Ryuichi Sakamato and various other Japanese artists. Hee-yeol admitted and apologized for the allegation that the song “Very Private Night,” which is almost identical to Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “Aqua''. Given Sakamoto's pacifist nature, he refused to take legal action and wished him well.

However Hee Yeol faces new plagiarism allegations as netizens have begun to scrutinize his past works. Shockingly, many of his previous songs were also plagiarized from various other famous Japanese artists like Koji Tamaki and Tomita Lab's collab with Maaya Sakamoto.
