The Elective Care Transformation Programme is supporting national roll-out of First Contact Practitioner services by 2023/24. This service offers patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions direct access to advice and assessment with no need for a GP appointment.
In the first of two videos, colleagues from Wellingborough share their experience of implementing a First Contact Practitioner service in their area. They explain the patient benefits they have found from introducing alternative physicians to their practices.
