My family and I took a road trip to Turin Torino, capital city of Piedmonte where we went to try Barolo wine at Casa Baricalino (small family owned vineyard where they grow nebbiolo and nascetta grapes) and visit the world's first Eataly market in Torino. We also got to see Saint Michael's Abbey (sacra di san michele), an abbey built on a top of a mountain over 1000 years ago.

It was so cool to see all the freshest and seasonal local produce at the market and try some of the best pastas we had on this trip. Sometimes simplest foods are the best foods! :)
