Scam IT support call centres are big businesses in India, which accounts for some 85% of such scams perpetrated globally. And they have a ready pool of recruits - drawing many Indians with legitimate-looking job ads that promise wages above the national average, performance incentives and a comfortable air-conditioned office.
But recruits soon find out upon joining what the real business is, and some leave straight away - like a CNA Insider viewer who shared his experience after watching the episode [ Ссылка ].
Others, however, stay on for the money. One scam operator said on a good night, he could make enough “for a year”. Some find ways to justify it with their conscience.
