Dukes Creek Falls Trail is located at 1699 Richard Russell Hwy (GA-348) Helen GA 30545. It’s on a paved road, has a parking lot loop, trashcans and bathrooms. There’s a view of Mt. Yonah near the trailhead. It’s a 2.2 out and back trail. This trail is downhill to the waterfalls, and a climb to return to the parking area. The trail ends at two observation decks with gorgeous views.
Dukes Creek was one of the first famous Georgia waterfalls, because it was the site of the first gold ever discovered in the state.
