The political oversight committee on the N2 Wild Coast road project in the Eastern Cape expressed its satisfaction at the progress made on the project and the community engagement linked to it. This project will see two major bridges constructed over the Msikaba and Mtentu Rivers. Construction of the Msikaba Bridge is under way but the Mtentu project suffered huge delays due to community pushback. A new contractor also had to be appointed for that project.
