Day One! Flying To Quebec City - Hope Air Expedition 2024 Part 2
Join Glen on his journey from Oshawa to Quebec City in the first leg of our "Give Hope Wings" fundraising expedition!
I am once again flying in the Give Hope Wings fundraiser this year! Our June of 2024 flight will see us stop in many communities in Eastern Canada to raise awareness for this worthy cause.
Last year 2023 we raised over $27,000 towards helping our neighbours - we made a positive difference in the lives of many.

In this first leg, we take off under beautiful blue skies, navigating through some challenging VFR conditions and dodging low clouds forecasted to clear by our arrival. Our trusty plane, Mike Victor Uniform, stands by ready for takeoff from Runway 30. As we climb to our cruising altitude of 5,500 feet, we battle a headwind, making for a slower journey but giving us stunning views of the landscapes below.
As we approach Quebec City, we descend past the iconic St. Lawrence River and over the historic Plains of Abraham. After landing at Quebec City's Jean Lesage International Airport, we take you on a quick tour of this charming city. Explore the rich history of Quebec’s Old Town, marvel at its stone architecture from the 1600s
Explore Quebec City:
After landing, we delve into Quebec City's rich history and vibrant culture. Stroll through Old Town’s cobblestone streets, marvel at centuries-old architecture, and savor the local cuisine. Learn about the city’s fascinating past, from its founding to the pivotal battles fought on the Plains of Abraham.
Stay Tuned:
We have much more to explore in the upcoming days. From the charm of Quebec City to the coastal wonders of Eastern Canada, this journey is just beginning. Don't miss out on the next legs of our adventure!
