X63 frequency changer heptode pentagrid converter vacuum tube. The valve is used & not in its original box. The valve base is a black international octal A08 K8A. The valve has a top connection cap. Printed on the glass envelope is the broad up arrow (British Government mark), P, X63 & MADE & PATENTED IN ENGLAND. Also printed on the glass is AMP99. I do not know if AMP99 is factory, date or batch codes. The box has X63 handwritten in pen on both ends. The type X 63 has a filament voltage of 6.3 volts & was first introduced in 1937.
This valve is part of my collection & is not for sale.
