I'll show you how to freeze and revive sourdough starter. My method is easy peasy, requires no preparation, and there’s no discard at all. I’ll also show you my no-fuss way of reviving my starter and it doesn’t get easier than what I’m about to show you! This bread recipe is also vegan.
RECIPE (Yields 1 loaf)
500g flour (I use 350g bread flour + 150g sprouted whole wheat but you can use all bread flour if you’d like)
- This is approximately 3 cups of flour total: 2 cups of bread flour + 1 cup of whole wheat
1 ½ cup room temperature water
2 tsp salt
2 tbs olive oil (oil is optional)
2 tbs of starter
