I disassembled a Daikin air conditioner outdoor unit, R40ZEP, and recorded the live sound of the compressor.

It is equipped with a 2-cylinder swing compressor, and although we cannot decipher the excluded volume from the model number, it is probably around 14 cc.
It has one intake pipe, but it seems to be designed to split into two cylinders inside the comp.
Also, there are many welding points on the outer circumference of the comp, and together with the externally mounted temperature sensor base, it has a rather rugged appearance.

This is the first time I have heard the sound of the twin swing comp driven by the new control, and I like it better because it is more smooth at startup.

As with the R22ZES, it is recorded in heated operation, so please enjoy the sound of the turning up to a certain high RPM.

9:45~ This air conditioner seems to be controlled to energize the compressor in a special way after it stops running.
