Itchy bumps in pubic area, I think you are referring to folliculitis or hair root infections, we call it .these are usually itchy when they are erupting, and once they erupt they look like pimples, and we have to start them on antibiotics, antibiotic creams to be applied, antibiotic soap. It is a long term treatment, because it has a tendency for coming back. If it follows by removal of hair, avoid removal of hair there. Trim the hair in the pubic area. Do not shave or wax. If it repeatedly keeps happening then you have to get it cultured or biopsied.
