Twenty five years into democracy, witchcraft-related killings at Mbizana and Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape, are still leaving many families homeless. Elderly women and their grandchildren are brutally murdered. Survivors of this atrocity are forced to leave their homes.
Villagers in the Mbizana area say over thirty lives have been lost since 2016, as a result of these accusations.
