Today, India's Election Commission held a rare press conference ahead of counting day. The Commission alleged that "fake narratives" about voting lists, turnout data and the functioning of electronic voting machines could have led to "anarchy". India's Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said: “We failed in understanding them [fake narratives], we admit it. Now we have understood.” The claims come amid criticism from India's opposition party coalition "INDIA".
