(18 Apr 2016) New Zealand Prime Minister John Key met with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in Beijing on Monday, as part of his week-long visit to China to boost bilateral ties.
Key was received by Li with a welcoming ceremony outside the Great Hall of the People, before the two sat down for meetings.
The two also presided over a signing ceremony of five agreements between the two countries concerning trade, agriculture, and education cooperation.
Key is scheduled to meet with other Chinese leaders including President Xi Jinping in Beijing before visiting Xi'an and Shanghai later this week.
