Join us on this episode as we spend the next 48 hours exploring the city of Puno and living with a local family on the mysterious Uros floating islands of Lake Titicaca.
Lake Titicaca is the world's highest navigable lake at over 3,800m/12,500ft above sea level. The Uros people have been building and living on man-made floating islands on Lake Titicaca for thousands of years. This way of life has created a unique culture unlike anything we've seen elsewhere!
Nearby is the town of Puno which has numerous historical and culinary attractions. Check out the two main viewpoints and get your hands dirty at one of the local markets - who knows, you might discover some amazing local delicacies!
