In this video I'll be showing you how you can control the contrast and the back light brightness of a 1602 LCD display with just the Arduino.
The contrast is typically adjusted with a variable resistor but since the project I'm planning this for will be enclosed, I wanted to have it adjustable via the menu.
This is a neat little trick and it is very easy to be accomplished.
