With the "recent" blow up of the Adult Swim trend or AS trend on Tiktok obviously influenced off of Adult Swim Bumps it got me looking back nostalgically about Adult Swim how it played cartoons or adult animation that no other program would (Space Ghost Coast To Coast, Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Rick and Morty, King of The Hill Aqua Teen Hunger Force, etc) how it was a big influence on the popularity of Anime with toonami Especially Mature anime (Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Samurai Champloo, Big O, Death Note, etc) How it helped introduce us to amazing musical artists and underground hip hop (J dilla, Mf Doom, Killer Mike, Flying Lotus, Madlib, Nujabes, etc) which led us to lofi hip hop Adult Swim played a huge part in the shaping of my childhood but besides being such a huge influence why I think Adult Swim is so important is because it grew its own personality which made it unique to other tv channels and today I hope to show you how Adult Swim influenced so many ppl and show my love for not only this [adult swim] tiktok trend but also adult swim bumps
