Ingredients
• 4 apples (sliced and peeled)
• 3 cups water
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• Pinch of salt
• 1/3 cup cornstarch
Preparation
• Preheat your oven to 350°F
• Mix your apple slices with all the ingredients in a medium sauce pan
• Bring to a boil over high heat and stir at boiling point for 3 minutes
• Bring the hear down to medium, cover and let simmer for 8 minutes
• Let cool and set aside
• In a large baking pan roll out your crescent dough
• Add your apple filling to the center (make sure to leave out as much sauce as possible, only add apple slices to the dough)
• Fold your crescent dough and bake for 12-15 minutes (or until golden)
• Serve, top with the cinnamon sugar sauce that you had left over and enjoy!
